Kevin J Garbacz is a Chicago-based artist and professional decorative painter.

 

Kevin's work is an effort to translate the mysteriously elusive qualities of memory into a tangible visual experience.  In each piece, he attempts to capture the essence of a moment to conjure a mood that accurately represents the subject of the piece’s inspiration.

 

Complementing his fine art pursuits, Kevin has mastered numerable highly complex decorative painting techniques over the last decade. He has successfully executed projects from ultra-modern penthouses in the Gold Coast of Chicago to historic homes in Lake Forest, Il.

 

He received his BFA from Barat College in 2002 and has studied figure painting at the Art Institute of Chicago.
